What resolution for SPC900NC?

Hi all,

I was just wondering what resolution I should be using to capture with my SPC900NC webcam?

I've been using 320x240 but I'm wondering if I should be using 640x480?

Does anyone know what the native resolution of the CCD in these is?

Any help much appreciated

Have fun,
Doug

Doug, choose the largest resolution the program will allow. I use 'Desire' and its max is 640 x 480 so I use that. Bigger would be better

Thanks,

I'll have to give 640x480 a go next time. I was just wondering if this was interpolated.

Have fun,
Doug

640x480 is the native resolution of the chip in the ToUcam, and it's definitely what you should be using.

You'll get 2x the image scale! More resolution!

Thanks Mike,

I'm kicking myself for not trying this sooner. Only saw the options last night when I selected the YUY2 codec.

I could really use twice the image scale during capture

Have fun,
Doug
