There will be a penumbral eclipse (88%) on early Saturday 11 Jan at 6 o'clock AEDT.
One side (closest to the umbra) will be somewhat dimmed, so it is NO real eclipse with a red (part of the) Moon.
Exactly 3 saros ago on 8 Dec 1965 I saw as a primary school boy just started with this astronomy hobby, this eclipse. Well 'saw', did not see. I expected a blood red Moon at the time of middle eclipse but saw just a regular full Moon, so I felt cheated :-(
As a beginner and a child, I had no idea that a penumbral eclipse only dims a part of the Moon slightly.
Happened to be up driving back from the hospital, and remembered about this event. I don't know why they call it a Wolf Moon eclipse. I really don't remember such names when I was growing up - lunar eclipses were just full, partial, penumbral. Now there's super blue blood moon, blah blah.
Anyhow, I took a bunch and tried to stack to sharpen, but they looked worse so I just worked on a single exposure.
