I am readvertising these scopes as much reduced prices. For sale is a JMI NTT 30 inch folded Newtonian. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a really large quality scope. This would suit keen amateurs or astro-societies. This scope was originally purchased for USD $85K. The folded Newtonian provides a convenient viewing position compared to a regular Newt design requiring large ladders or steps to reach the eyepiece. The mount is an Alt-Az design as shown in the images with a Vixen Sky Sensor 2000 GoTo system. The scope has been unused for a number of years and the primary mirror would be best recoated for ideal performance, estimated cost $1300 from Palmway Optical, Forster NSW. For more details see:

For sale is a JMI NGT 18 inch f/4.5 open truss Newtonian. This a great opportunity to purchase a large scope which is quite lightweight and transportable. These scopes have a split ring equatorial mount. Motorised tracking (not GoTo) is included. A rotating nose assembly avoids awkward eyepiece positions with the equatorial mount. The scope has been unused for a number of years, there is corrosion on the split ring and the mirrors would require recoating.
