Hi all,
Due to 12V cord failure I wasn't able to image on the night I wanted too. I made a temporary cord which seem to work just fine for now.
Any way here is the image of Jupiter and Io from the 25-5-19 12-23 UT in average seeing conditions. Jupiter's altitude for my location was 53° and Jupiter's current size is 45.5".
I have enlarged the image a bit more than normal so you can see the material shearing off the GRS. I thought I will still post the image in case people are following the GRS developments at the moment.
That's an excellent image with a lot of detail evident and good colour, can easily see what is happening to the Red Spot with the cloud shearing off into the surrounding jetstream. Has been fascinating to see the changes over the past few weeks and wanting to see more higher resolution images from the experienced planetary imagers, please.
