Hi folks,
Here's Jupiter from Friday last week and on Easter Saturday. Been fiddling with LX collimation trying to improve resolution of planetary captures. Had a go at all three morning planets but no time to crunch through all the datasets as yet. Seeing has been very variable (changing every 4-5 minutes or so) making precise focusing challenging. I will try to derotate some of the stacks soon to see if more detail is achieved. All shots taken in early morning before seasonal fog (which usually hits around 6 am local time).
Decided not to push wavelets and colour saturation too hard and will attempt to reprocess my earlier efforts accordingly. 1000 best frames at low capture ratio (25 fps), sharpened in Registax and deconvolved in Astra Image, final touches in ACDSee Pro / PS6. 93% image scale reduction.
