Lovejoy Widefield 23/12/11

My first of i'm sure many, many, many images of this comet. Taken near Wagga Wagga, NSW at approx 4am

Canon 60D
Tamron 10-24mm @ 10mm

That's a ripper widefield Greg, well done.

I'm in the same boat as Matt, these clouds are verging on the point of irritating.

How big a laser do we need to punch a hole big enough to fit the whole tail into? Can anyone afford the power bill?

We've had one cloud free Fri/Sat/Sun night in the last 3 months, and that was taken up by the family Xmas gathering.

Thank you so much for the great feedback everyone I'm sorry to hear that a few of you have so far lucked out with the clouds. Fingers crossed you get a view soon. I have another early morning planned looking at the forecast. I think I will just sleep next year....
