Eta Carina in Ha

Here is what I have come up with just playing with 5 minutes of Ha captures 16X20 seconds. Stacked in Pixinsight with 9 darks. Gotta love Ha filters.

That looks wonderful.
I am still have mount problems which is limiting my exposure times ti under 40 seconds... but what has surprised me is what I get in HA ...I didnot think short exposures would work at all...nevertheless I look forwatd to at some point being happy with the mount auto guide and the tracking an see what it canvreally do...Being forced to short exposures has been very positive for me strangley.

I hope you get your mount issues sorted soon. Yes I too was very surprised to see so much detail in the Ha subs at only 20 seconds. I had a long night of trying to sort out all kinds of problems with the centering functions of SGP. In the end, I only had a couple of hours left before the morning twilight so I just got 16x20 seconds of Ha (pictured above) and 20 x 10 seconds of R, G and B.
