Hello Folks,
Inspired by Bart's picture I thought to try to capture an image.
Uncooled Canon 60DA no filters at prime focus of uncorrected Mewlon 210.

It took me some time playing with exposure times to be happy. It took 2 minutes at ISO 6400 so I settled on 8 minutes at ISO 1600. The seeing last night was excellent so PHD2 RMS about .3 arc seconds. With the stable dry air the proximity to the moon was not a problem.

Any way, nine 8 minute exposures stacked with DSS and processed with Nebulosity 3. The attached thumb naill reduced from 26 Meg does not do the nebulosity of the region justice.
