close to 1AM here, time for bed... still listening to track after track... Franco de Vita "Hijos de la oscuridad" just came around ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPWgvLU8sQU

Keeping in theme with underlying messages within lyrics...

If you never heard the song, I implore you, please listen. If you don't understand Spanish, it doesn't matter, watch the video. If you don't understand the message, I'll translate.

Time for bed.
OIC!

<late edit: Headed to bed, but I thought I'd copy the lyrics here... for your perusal. First two sentences are so powerful that they blow me away. "They know hunger and death up close, they more with respect to life than you can imagine">

LOS HIJOS DE LA OSCURIDAD

<lyrics>

</lyrics>

What are you listening to right now?

Flight announcements at Brisbane Airport

ps. since when does a simple foldup umbrella need to be scanned separately?

OK, back to the actual topic - heard lots of golden oldies radio on the drive down from up north - lots of old (like 70s!) favourites.

Been listening to The Doors again, but I think Sia's new album is about to knock them off my playlist.

Sarah,

Have you heard Ulrich Schnauss' remix of Sia's Breathe Me?

Oh, my goodness.

Unfortunately the best version isn't on YouTube. Argh.

Love Movement is bliss.

Check out the other version with Revtone in the title. That's even better.

Ulrich is an ethereal music magician.

You will have to get his albums now.

He likes my landscape pics! Gave me permission to use his music in slideshows.

That's shameless name dropping but I would too if he'd given me kudos mehehehe I'm sure he joins the long list of your photography admirers, I had one of your shots as a screen saver for quite a while and always got comments from people asking where it was. It was a really cool one of a tree near a gravel/dirt road with a purple sunset/sky behind it. Loved that one!

There is heaps of Ulrich's stuff on you tube I like so might just have to do that and get an album or two at some stage.

Jen,

New Underworld album out on September 10th, 2010! Can't wait.

Beaucoup Fish (1997) has got to be one of the finest electronic albums ever released. Might just put it on now.
