I like the colours in this one Mark.
What technique did you use for star reduction ? Was it in PS ? If not I can give you another one to try in PS that tends to be pretty good although I’ve not tried it with a really large star. PM if you’re interested ?

Nice work Mark, oh and that bright star is Lambda Centauri and is mag 3 ie. it is meant to be bright, so it doesn't look too bad to me

For giggles I converted to faux-HSO using pixelmath and made a different attempt on Lambda Centauri...
