What's the strangest freebie you got?

I recently bought something secondhand from an overseas astro forum and received the package today.
Got a small surprise when I opened it up. Along with my purchased good, there was a printed note. It began like this "have you ever wondered about the universe, where it came from, where it's going and when it might end? Have you considered the grand design of life and wondered...." Then it pretty much deteriorated into quotations from the bible complete with references to the various books and verses
I often try to put some Easter eggs into the stuff I sell, a memory card for a camera, an extra filter for a lense etc and I have received the odd freebie in some of my purchases. But this printed sheet of bible quotes was by far the strangest freebie I ever got.
What's your strangest freebie with your astro purchases?

I import firearms and firearms parts. I have had some not so much weird, but obtuse frebies.

Once got some German WW2 stuff in from Holland. In there was a Coca-Cola money box. No idea why, but it was there.

Another guy I deal with in the USA a lot always hand draws his receipts for me - different caricatures of his whim.

Also had some cretin try to send me machine gun parts, that landed HIM in a bunch of hot water (totally unsolicited package). Thankfully, the Customs guys here know me VERY well for the past 20 years, so they know I would not willingly do something that stupid.

Oh, had some free condoms sent with a phone case my wife bought from Hong Kong. Again, no idea why!!!

I got something like that when i ordered a hotshield smoke mask. The instruction manual has a couple of fairly evangelical paragraphs down the bottom.

I bought a book from the US on modifying Porsche aircoolded engines. With it came a book mark that had nothing to do with Porsche or the company I got the book from. In fact, it was an advertising promo from a General Motors dealer - in a different state to where the book came from. Is there a WTF emoticon?

I also bought some 911 parts from a supplier in the the US. I received a small tin of jelly beans with it. They were yummy!

That's quite strange Bo !

Have not really had any strange freebie's.

Just good ones like the 1 GB cf card in the camera I purchased of
you the other day-thank you!

Not much in my firearms purchases like yours Lewis. But I did win
a Savage .223 the other day in a photography comp-with scope,around
$1000 worth,so that's a life time of freebie's every wild dog with that one is really a bonus!

A computer company I deal with used to send after dinner mints with purchases.

Great in Winter but a bit of a fail in summer.

Maybe it was spam rather than a freebie...

My son bought a vintage fender valve amp from a seller in the states who sent it on to a forwarding company to ship to Australia, the company
decided the item was to big to send , or return to the seller, they paid him the sale price of the item plus the frieght he had already spent and kept the item to resell and recoup any loss they incurred,,weird eh ?

So the seller got his price , my son never got as far as paying the seller as
you could pretty much say the deal still happened just somone else bought it .

Four months later a large box shows up from the states addressed to my son , he has no idea whats in it and opens the package up, somone has removed the head of the amp carefully packaged it up and sent it to australia no invoice nothing to say who sent it and why !
