A pleasure Andrew Have you had a play with an OM-D yet?
I've handled one at JB HiFi but the batteries were flat.
Absolutely wonderful camera, feels lovely.
I'm waiting for a chance to go to the city and visit a real camera shop and get proper a demo from someone knowledgeable like you suggested.
Andrew - I found Foto Riesel a little difficult to work with, as Peter (their main guy on the floor) couldn't dedicate time to me while I was there - he kept answering calls and doing other things instead of answering my questions. Bloody annoying.
I found Sascha at Digital Camera Warehouse in Canturbury far more helpful - and their Olympus prices are universally tens of dollars cheaper than FR for most items - bodies and lenses included.

Hey thanks for that Chris, DCW (Sascha) is one I haven't dealt with yet.
I will look them up and ask for Sascha.
I have dealt with Foto Riesel and agree with you 100%.
My main supplier a few years ago was on George St, now the Telstra Office opposite Apple.
I forget their name but (Ned) the guy who worked there was my old neighbour from Sutherland and so he gave me massive (staff) discounts on all my gear.
Pity they're not there anymore, wish I could track him down.
The bags are well constructed, and especially for the price. The smaller one is ideal for a single camera (DSLR without grip - or an OMD with grip), a lens and flash. The pocket up front carries the wipes, white bal card. There is a hidden pocket inside the bag that will take your wallet.
The larger one will easily take a couple of DSLR bodies and a couple of lenses in addition to your other small stuff that you drag along.
I like my two. The larger one now gets to carry the two Leicae, and my Lowe Pro Messenger and the smaller canvas bag will cycle the two Olympii - the OM-D and the new E-PL2 which arrived today.
At the time of purchase I was told delivery in 5 days
Then I get an email saying.
"We had sent goods out by Air Mail. Because it is international delivery, it will take(10-20 working day) 15-25 days for delivery, please be patient to wait for it. If you have any problem with delivery, please contact us anytime. we will check with post office for you"
So was I Mark, but it arrived in less than a week anyway. I emailed him back with that same message and a "please explain", and was told that it's his standard "worst case" message. Don't fret just yet.
