AR2699 ready to disappear around the sun's western limb
I captured this image of AR2699 approaching the sun's western limb this afternoon. The seeing conditions were not the best with fast moving clouds and small gaps of clear skies.
I used the Coronado SM60 Etalon fitted to a Takahahshi FS-60C scope working at f/20, BF30 and a ASI 174MM video camera.
some nice work there George. unfortunately for me i didn't get a break to image this. you certainly have raised the bar for some quick quality work and i love the neg shot
I wish I had better seeing and no clouds. Waiting for a clear patch to appear is a great time waster and annoying particularly when the neighbour's place is bathed in sunlight and I'm not.
