I had just set up on Sunday night, and began recording video of Jupiter when I saw the planet disappear from the screen for a split second, and then the seeing became incredibly poor- like watching through boiling water. When I ran my videos through DeTeCt, the program flagged up an event- and then I discovered the cause: a plane had flown right over (under?) the planet. I've never seen that in nearly four decades of Jupiter watching. There also appears to be a shock wave, visible as a straight line passing over Jupiter a few seconds after the plane. The video is here, 24 seconds of it, played back at roughly 1/3 speed. Enjoy!
