Very nice packet of images there! 60min is one long sub!

I'm starting to get a lot of the bugs ironed out of my RC8 rig too except for some niggling collimaton errors. One investment I would highly recommend is upgrade the focuser. i put a moonlight on mine and it butter smooth with no chance of slipping! Thousand times better than the stock focuser.

Wow Meru they're great! I really like the Galaxy!

I actually saw a lodestar the other day, it's sooo small and lightweight, the mount would barely know it's there, plus everyone raves about it light sensitivity and finding stars, I plan to get one soon.

Ken,
Thanks Yea I'm a bit scared to approach the collimation lol but there's a few good guides on the net so might give it a go this weekend. Yup I'm already looking into the moonlites, just waiting for 22T4 to sell so I can use the money for a moonlite.

Carlos,
Hehe yes NGC253 is my personal favourite too. Seeing makes such a huge difference, considering that image is a 1x1 bin and cropped! And congrats on your decision to get a lodestar, it truly is amazing. I was considering a QHY5L-II/ASI120MM or the likes but I've used a lodestar before (on loan) and knew it worked, so decided it was worth the investment. So glad I did, you will be too!

Ahh, it is noice when it all finally comes together.
60 minute subs on an EQ6 shows what can be done.
What focuser are you using?

Mmm it definitely is. I love taking deep subs, I might try a 60min without a reducer just for kicks this weekend. Gotta fix my PA for that first though.

I'm just using the stock standard, run of the mill GSO focuser. Looking into moonlites at the moment though, heard they are the bee's knees
