M83

Hey all, haven't been on the forum in ages unfortunately. M83 seems to be in a good spot at the moment, so here's my attempt!

10.5 hours luminous, and 3 hours each RGB.

My first attempt using deconvolution, which i think worked well? Guiding was awesome, and the new WR35 NiteCrawler from Moonlite is AMAZING!

Hope you like it...

Hi Erik,
that's a very respectable M83.
The TOA-150 is really singing.

It's sharp and clear.
There are also many interesting other galaxies.

cheers
Allan

Thanks Allan, its a lot sharper than my old rig. I was impressed with the detail in IC 4309, and the one in the opposite corner (not sure what it is!)

The stars and background galaxies in the fov are unreal. The main subject is awesome. Terrific picture.

An excellent M83 Erik. The mount is going well I see.

The TOA150 is one of the worlds best scopes.

Greg.

Thanks Greg, yes the PMX hasn’t skipped a beat, not a single sub with tracking errors!
