Mars is out there...I promise, I think!

Having a few days off was going to give me a chance to see a few things with my telescope (in particular the Moon and Mars) and try out a few recent additions/modifications (sliding counter weight and Parracor)

I was also keen to use the binoviewers to look at the Moon and Mars...

Unfortunately, too many clouds!

I did get a nice naked eye view last night between holes in the cloud cover(transferring presents from garage to house) but no chance to set up any telescopes...

Clear Skies someday I hope!

I was going to post an observational report. I was going to mention what good views I've been getting of the clouds. And how there's no pesky stellar objects to distract me.
