How do I find the centre of a circle
I KNOW it is a stupid question but
I am making some centre columns for my tripod save swapping three heads over on one column all the time, I need to drill holes in the centre
How would you find the centre please, thanks

Cheers - I actually showed my Y7 Maths class how to do this using a pair of compasses and straight edge this week!

Just a compass set to half the diametre (radius). Run any arc from any point on the circle and they will all intersect at the center.

Hi J,
Similar to your 45deg square, this is a set of 3: Protractor, ruler, square and V-block. The V Block is used to mark centres, since the ruler edge passes through the centre of the V (Top left in the Image attached). See eBay....
