ASIair plus connection to EQ8-R
I purchased an EQ8-R pro mount and had a real hassle connecting it to my ASIair plus. I thought it logical to select SynScan as the mount type in the ASIair software but the mount refused to track. Turns out selecting EQMod as the mount type solved the issue and it’s been working reliably since. Note that I don’t actually use EQMod software and just selecting as mount type worked for me. If you need more detailed instructions for connecting, let me know and I’ll post them.
