I'm giving a talk at the AAQ meeting on Sat, 12 November about colour management for astrophotography. The meeting starts at 4pm and is held at the University of Queensland (Lecture Theatre 222, Parnell Building.) Visitors are welcome, so drop by if you're interested and able to get there...
I left home from Dayboro on my way but looking at the radar had to turn back. It would have been pretty much through storm most of the drive and the hail warning kinda scared me off. I could probably leave now as the worst has passed over but it will take me an hour to get to UQ and I am not sure what time you were starting your talk.
It wasn't a great afternoon for a trip to UQ, especially coming from some distance away. I got a bit wet myself and I'm less than 1km from the campus. Shame you couldn't make it but hope to catch up another time!

Cheers,

Hi Rick
Sorry to have missed your talk, I hope those that managed to attend had some good questions for you.
I don’t really mind getting wet – it was the BOM’s warning of potential hailstones that caused me to wimp out!
