Files nowhere to be found!

Hi Everyone,
Heres a puzzle. Last night I took 40 120 sec shots of the LMC using ASIAIR. The files were saved to the removable thumb drive. I viewed the files as they were being created in ASIAIR Image Management.

This morning I went to load them on to my desktop PC and the files were nowhere to be found. I looked on the other storage areas just in case and they were not there either!

The Flats I took this morning were on the removable storage device OK.

Any ideas?

Chris.

I recently found out that thumb drives may totally delete files rather than move them to the Recycle Bin. I got mine back easily using a lost file program such as Recuva. However, in my case Recuva did not succeed in recovering files that would open for some reason. I changed over to DiskGenius (not free) and recovered 100%. Just be sure to not write anything to that thumb drive!

My lesson,,,,I'm no longer going to use a thumb drive to transfer files!

Good luck!
Peter
