FC-100DF or Sky 90? Decision to be made...

After sorta settling down again prior to our massive interstate move (might as well be interstellar considering the bloody headaches going on with UnReal Estate agents....) and after regretfully selling Brian's old Sky 90, I am trying to decide on a new scope - narrowed it down to another Sky 90, or an FC-100DF.

I never had a single issue with the Sky 90, and found it extremelly pleasing to use, but I also recall the FC-100 I had was simply the most perfect doublet I had ever used - I hope the new ones are commensurately comparable to the old version in terms of spectacularly razor sharp imagery.

So, basically I would love to hear users of the FC-100DF (or DC or DL) as I have never seriously looked through one, let alone imaged with one (yes, I have seen the astrobin images etc). I of course am well versed on the Sky 90

I would go with a TSA102S if you're after perfect colour correction for imaging...
You can trial one in Yass during Tak Attack 2017.....

Can ya beat $3K Matt, including an 8300 CCD?

It's a fine Tak doublet...handcrafted by me with supreme exotica level satin cream paint and exsquisite decal making, utilising sublime quality fluorite in a Steinheil configuration, dating back to the early 2000's

I am not really into supreme erotica level paints, just the standard Tak stuff for me. To me attaching a camera to a fine refractor is no different to having a shower with a raincoat on, not really the Right Stuff....

Dairy stainless - sounds cheesy.

Corvette...that's poorly designed American trash talk right there.
