O- ring for 50mm finder scope

I need a replacement O- ring for a 50 mm finder scope ,if any one has one.

Hi Phil,

In the meantime you could try a carefully placed elastic band or even black round (~1-1.5mm cross-sectional diameter) elastic hair tie which would be perfect for a 50mm diameter scope.

you could try the plumbing section in bunnings, they have many different size o rings

o-ring

Hi 5ash,


I guess we are talking about the common skywatcher 50mm finder that comes as standard with lots of scopes.


I replaced mine with this seal from 'RENSEAL":


52 x 1.5 N70



43 Amberley Cres. Dandenong. VIC 3175
(03) 9794 5711


as pictured. Contact details are in the image.


If you have any issues I have spares and can send you one.
