Hi ,
I was thinking about doing some Astro Photography, But I don't know what I need.
I've tryed to holding a digital camera up to the eyepiece,
but it doesn't work.
Can you help me?
Gus
Hi Gus, try the moon first since it's bright. Then give the bright planets a try. You may need to adjust some camera settings on manual for best results.
For stars you will need a digital SLR and tracking. It gets expensive and a lot more complicated from there.
If you have a look at the deep sky and solar system sections of the forum, a lot of people mention the type of equipment they are using to take the photos to give you an idea.
