Absolutely STUNNING seeing here tonight in Canberra - I mean, I cannot even see a single stellar scintillation in over many minutes looking up - SOLID AS A ROCK. And Luna looks spectacular.
BUT...it's 2°...and it'll drop to -2° tonight...I've just lost all courage and conviction
. I've been itching to get the new-to-me Tak EM200 mount under the stars, but not inclined to carry it all out (it's a LOT heavier and bulkier, and more intensive to polar align than my old Vixen SXP)
Ah well...c'est la vie mes amis! Bring on spring...but with it's incumbent loss in seeing stability. Sigh.
