Hi All

Some Jupiter with a Ganymede shadow transit from this morning. Seeing was about 5 / 10 and considering the forecast wasn't for clear skies I'm happy to have captured something at least.
Saxon 150mm f8, EQ6, ZWO290mc. best 400 of 2000 frames in Registax.

Seems to be the case all over the country this winter, but you’ve defied the conditions with eye catching images of the giant planet. Cool shots of the moon transit too.

Yes I agree, this winter has been disappointing so far in regard to seeing conditions especially if your imaging from City suburban skies ( Sydney)
These are great images of Jupiter considering the conditions.On Tuesday night around midnight I tried to image Jupiter but couldn’t even get focused it was just a fuzz ball. I sit at almost sea level at the bottom of a hill so the night air was full of moisture, you could see it over the roofs of nearby houses, so I gave up and went to bed
Hopefully conditions will improve for July

Thanks for your comments guys, one day we will some good seeing conditions when there is a shadow transit or Red Spot crossing the disc.

Great job. I tried for Ganymede on the 3rd but only got cloud. Only managed to catch little Io earlier in the night.
