Message when I go to the forum page.

Hi, when I click on the forum link I get a message saying a script on this page is trying to run. It says allowing this script to run might make your computer inactive.

Has anyone else got this message or can tell me what it is about.

Mark

It sounds like malware on your computer.

Try a different browser, and make sure you run a malware scan.

Or, if it's just that you've disabled javascript, then the forum will need javascript to run properly.

It's an interesting one. I get a message that says the program is trying to run a script that will make you program run slow. Do you want to close it Yes/no

I get it when ever I connect to the internet on all my computers. It started about a week ago and appears on opening all browsers and also on IIS and so far have not been able to locate the source, It looks like malware of some type but it is suddenly appeared on a computer that has not been connected to the internet as well for some time.

Virus scans do not disclose any problems and I can't locate the "script". The only clue I have is I did a java update about a week ago when requested by a program.

I don't get "run slow" alerts on this PC. The old P-III box running its ancient version of Linux would get them all the time.

When I ran my last Java7 update it asked about removing all previous versions. It runs a Java process to detect and remove them. The only other version I would consider keeping would be the current Java6.

This computer almost locked up on IIS because of the "script"

I tried the "fix it" by clicking on the button and it appears to work. The message nolonger appears.

Tonight I visited about 10 sites before coming to IIS.
The message only appeared on IIS.
