Software for MAC Users

Hey, I am a mac user and SharpCap is windows only. I can potentially try and use it by running Windows on the mac, but not sure if the quality would change or if it will play up.

I am interested in astrop of nebula as well as planetary and live stacking, and The SkyX Professional Edition seems to fit the bill, but it is ridiculously expensive. I actually don't even get the price, there happens to be a sign-up fee and I contacted them about that and they never responded, which probably means that I will have some challenges with any tech support if I proceed to purchase it.

Any recommendations? Something like SharpCap would be awesome.

I have a HEQ5 and William Optics 73APO
