WIFI Card inquiry please

Hi guys it seems that if one buys a new lap top it comes with WiFi capabilities all built in these days.

So I was looking at a Dell Inspiron 16 Laptop and then somewhere in the small print or specifications it tells me that the WiFi that it has needs an upgrade to your router, because it is built with this inside.

Intel® Wi-Fi 6E AX211, 2x2, 802.11ax, Bluetooth® wireless card

So what I want to know is can I still just buy a portable WIFI, or my standard WIFI at home and will it work with this machine.

Thanks In Advance.

Leon

Hi Leon,
Wi-Fi is backwards compatible, so your new laptop will most likely work fine with your existing Wi-Fi setup at home.
