Saw a potential Pi-Puppid!

I walked outside and watched for about 30 seconds, looking at the galactic centre when a very slow moving meteor appeared above scorpius, slightly yellowish, around mag 2, no trail. When I traced its path back mentally it passed through puppis, low on the horizon. Could this be a Pi-Puppid?
