adjusting PMX for a heavy load

I read recently someone made a remark about how you can adjust I think it was the acceleration rate on a PME or PMX mount when using a heavy scope.

Is there an adjustment that helps with a heavy load?

Greg.

TheSkyX - Telescope/Tools/Bisque TCS/Parameter/Acceleration can alter the 'ramp-up' speed so it might help.

On the PME you can adjust the spring plungers too. See da manual.

Oh I remember now. These adjustments are just for slewing not for autoguiding. I got the mistaken idea it helped the autoguiding.

The PMX does not seem to have any difficulty go-toing the Honders.

By the way the regrease made a big difference. It sounds so much nicer and smoother now.

Thanks for the replies.
