It's pretty amazing that you can do that with a phone!

Did you just hold the phone up to the eyepiece of your scope?

Nice work!

I had a 127mm refractor on Jupiter about an hour earlier. First time this "season". My impressions at the eyepiece match your photo nicely. The GRS is much smaller and more vividly red than I recall from previous years. I also picked out lots of dark smudges in the NEB (?) that I don't recall being so evident before.

How did you capture this with an iPhone? What equipment did you use?
