First ever 10 min. subs - Pleiades

Taken at my very first visit to a dark site, what a ball I had, mystical skies

2 by 10 minute subs, plus 14 by 2 mins, ISO 800

Lovely image Simon, but strange background colour, and the blue
nebulosity seems muted.

Yes, I agree with Raymo,

I think the dreaded dew monster may have snuck in at the end, the reddish halos around the bright stars make me think dew was a factor....?

Thanks, no I don't think it was dew affecting the image as the halos were around the 2 min shots earlier as well, plus the reflector mirror had no Dew on it in the morning .

I'm more into the subtle treatment so I didn't up the blue neb beyond what I thought was reasonable. Needs heaps more data!

I'd be pretty happy with that result, I've been trying for a long time to get that particular object with limited success so to me, it looks good.
