Comet Lovejoy and the Pleaides

Taken last night. The tail is quite long.

Fantastic shot, and great to sneak in the seven sisters for scale!

Thanks Russ. The Pleaides ended up looking a bit funny but still interesting. I took another one last night with my CCD and it should be a lot nicer.

I had to remove the lens, move the filter wheel manually then reattach the lens, then check focus. I had to do this 4 times all the while realising its a moving target!

Well that sounds a challenging situation Greg, great stuff for battling through the hard times
Im flat out getting a still target & thats with a colour camera, but know similar dilemas !
