Ngc 2264

It's been a long time between posts. In that time I've acquired a few images that I didn't think worth posting. I like this one though, and so I'll post it, even if it needs more acquisition time. It's getting lower in the west so I might not be able to add to it this year. Maybe next year...

Fantastic and very natural looking image! Love the way the blue (reflection?) nebulosity in the centre creates a beautiful focal point. Great stuff

That's a great shot as is Kevin, sure some more data is always a good thing in this game but an image can still be very pleasing on the eye, without going uber deep and in fact, not doing so, often makes it look quite natural.

Very nice image Kevin, with great colours.

I always like seeing these objects that aren't imaged much from the southern hemisphere.
