M42 - Less than ideal...

I've yet to have decent conditions to have a go at M42 and surrounds. I did this image on Friday night (after a month of no setup, I needed to get out):

* Basically near a full moon
* Dodging clouds
* Moderate breeze
* Warm weather

I stacked 12 images, ISO1600 x 60sec. I didn't do any flats/dark flats, and I later discovered I didn't have any darks available either for ISO/time combo. When I can get the temperature about right, I'll do some darks and reprocess.

That came out pretty well with a near full moon at the time.

I know I was amazed - I didn't expect it.
