The Great Carina Nebula

Good day all,
This is my first posting of an image on this website I have taken from my backyard. It is taken with my WO Z61 and 1600mm camera. This is about 10 hrs of SHO compiled wholly in Pixinsight and touched minimally in Darktable. it have been cloudy here all summer long, I'm only able to get a few hours of clear skies here and there. Hello to everyone here btw. Cheers JIM

Hi Jim and welcome to the forum with a fine presentation of the Carina Nebula. Sorry that you’re getting all of this cloudy weather in NZ as well. Nov - Jan were a write off for me here in the Central West of NSW. At least I have managed to get a few nights data this new moon which is a plus.

CS,
Rodney

Thanks for the compliment Rodney, with so few hrs it is reprocessing old data that is keeping me a lil busy. It is amazing how the processing skills slowly improve and make reprocessing almost like real capture again. Cheers!
