Hi All,
Many thanks for all your replys, Yes the QHY-8 is a mighty Camera, but im a Canon addict (taken some 4200 Pix with it) and once you get used to a Camera its difficult to break the habit, still ill plug on with the QHY8 and see how we go as processing is a whole new ballgame my results are not as good as with the Canon yet-learning though, the moon has gone now, but the cloud is back-grrrr.

cheers....Jim

Hi Jim,ah the the Chicken neb ! It's a nice result...you just need a lot more data on this object! at least a couple of hours at 10 minute subs would go a lot deeper and then you'll see It come alive in smoothess and colour mate.
Your doing very well with your new CCD Jim! I know It's not your DSLR but It's coming together for you very quickly,so well done.
