That's wonderful Peter, especially the rather unique "exploding prom" at about 1030. Zooming in to it with a tight portrait view that has the sun's surface almost vertical makes a great image on its own with the adjacent solar surface detail.

An excellent image of yesterdays Sol, lots of " fireworks "going off, great detail. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Gents.

The arching proms were quite active, might have made a very cool animation
But as is so typical of Sydney this time of year, the cumulus clouds build late morning for the evening thunderstorms.
