its been like pulling teeth getting new data to include all this object and sadly all I collected that made up the last image I posted for this object I could not use...I suppose if I stacked all I have I would get a small region with maybe 30 hours in it...maybe next rainy day.
Been rather crook so taken over many nights with crazy mount problems, grizzle grizzle...anyways we dont need to go into all that as it seems all i do is offer excuses ...anyways a result...hands full and grateful..please and thank you.

I agree with Peter , your images push the boundaries of what the colour of DSO’s can be, not what should be.
Very nice M8 from that 115mm refractor , unguided too
Well done !!

But for the photos I map Ha to green as I read that is expected, and my Ha subs are always the most detailed and the most exposed out of the rest...so I guess that plays out when I throw all the final subs into LBRG ...I dont bother to adjust the balances and trust that this is the way it must be...the colour there is what I stick to...
I would think Ha should be red actually, and sulpher yellow but I dont know how to get yellow out of Startools...oxygen blue and or green?
What is interesting about this image is I ran it through star tools so fast, no hesitation, really fast basically accepting any setting I did not have to input...and as I said the LRBG feature generated the colour based on weight of subs.
All I wanted was those little stars to show in the middle.
The detail in the big image is not bad.
And decided not to upgrade gear other than another eq6 and another zwo mono. Maybe another two 115 mm scopes so to take Ha,S and O all at same time...not putting in a pier just going to set up all scopes in roll off ...that will be four and two in the old observatory maybe..anyways need to get eight inch going, so it will get the new eq6 maybe, first need to finish all work planned on roll off..tree clearer has had truck problems so my park has not been started...plus been crook so progress is real slow.

If you have Startools V1.5 or V1.6 you can blend colours or Synthesis colour using the Compose module
Open Startools
Go into Compose at the top and load your data sets into each colour R G B
Adjust your exposure time on the right hand side colour channels to match your total capture time or try different times Say double the green
Set Luminance colour to L+Synthetic L from a RGB mono and keep
Then process as normal
You can experiment with this Compose module to vary your colours
If your using Startools v1.3 or v 1.4 they unfortunately don’t have the Compose module
Cheers

i stacked everything I had and had to do severe cropping however this one is a crop on the already major crop ..mainly the green outside of this was wild so I thought to see how the detail may have improved by using all the data I had and put it here to compare with the earlier detail in the above images.

That one looked very different..I hope this turns out better.
Edit addition...well it looks better on my monitor it just loses the pop in the downsize..anyways I am happy I guess given I really d9nt have very good data.
