Here's an image I put together on 31st December. It was my first try at this, and a few issues came up that will help my planning for next time.
I started with 2000 frames at around 75fps, using ASI120MM and 180 Mak. My 200GB drive filled up towards the end, so I had to reduce to 1000 and then 500 frames towards the end. I just managed to squeeze it onto the SSD, but missed a couple of regions.
Captured in Sharpcap 3.2, processed in Registax and assembles in Photoshop.
Cheers
Stephen
I use the same camera and I don't think there is any advantage in capturing more than about 1200 frames per panel. The Moon has a lot of contrast and you can get away with combining the best 400 frames in Autostakkert.
I capture at f/16.
