Losmandy G-11 - goes to the wrong side of the pier

Hi All

So, I have a strange problem and I'm not really sure whether the error may be in the Gemini setup or the controlling software (N.I.N.A).
Last night I wanted to try and get a headstart on imaging so I wanted to get pretty close to focus before dark.
There were a couple of stars visible around Orion (well past the meridian at that time), so I decided to slew to that area.

The attached pic shows how the telescope ended up.

I expected it to go to the other side of the pier.

Any ideas where I might start looking?

Gemini setup or N.I.N.A (or somewhere else)

Thanks in anticipation
