Another Great Night of Observing up here
Tonight did not disappoint, and was the best of the last three. Humidity was very low all day but held around 60% even at 3am when I rolled the roof off the observatory. Temp was 9C. Sky was very stable, no dancing or wobbles. The Sky Quality Metre was reporting 20.9 .
Started Epsilon Orionis Nebula (NGC1990) and worked the eastern sky back to the Tarantula near the south Meridian, checking out Doubles and Clusters on the way. Closed up the roof just after 4am and retired for a cup of tea. Retirement and observatory, a satisfying combination.
