Moon Venus and Mercury

It was very nice to see the crescent moon sitting above Venus and lower down, about 28 deg above the eastern horizon, Mercury.
A welcome end to a rather fruitless early morning session. (The Synscan controller appeared to fail....bumma.)

I've only seen Mercury once naked eye way back in the late 79. Never lived anywhere with decent east or west horizons since....gotta get out more me thinks
