NGC 2467 A monkey with a Santa hat

Have this monkey on my back for a while now. 1 hour each of RGBHaOiii under the full moon. I have 2 hours of Ha on this but there is a limit to how much Ha exposure I can stack before I am just stacking noise with a non cooled camera. As you can see zooming in to the 7nm Ha + R it is pretty stormy and streaky with noise up there.

Perhaps shorter subs with less offset?

Also a DSLR wider version .

Not one I see pop up too often, well captured
The good thing with the cooler months coming is that the ambient temperature gets low enough that even an uncooled camera does perfectly fine

Thanks Colin. Much appreciated. I also appreciate your review a while back of the 3nm nb filters. Very well thought out.

Thanks Chris. These are filters on a second hand non cooled ASI1600 , which looks like a cheap option right now.

Cheers
Ray
