First galaxy NGC6744 in Pavo

90 x 120 secs
ZWO IR UV cut filter
20 each darks, flats, dark flats. No bias.

Near full moon.

Your first was NGC6744 too!!
Nice image mate, definitely more subs for me next time, I only did 45x2mins.
I might try a filter as well, when our rubbish weather goes away

Haha yeah the weather isn’t looking good for the next week. TBH I’m not sure the IR UV filter really did anything to improve the image.

You have made a good start Neuro.

At 3 hrs of integration time, not a bad result.
Another 17hrs and you can rest easy!

A difficult target (esp. with the Moon out).

And your right, the filter (I think) would not have done much.

Thanks, Peter. I'll work on the other 17 hrs when the weather clears and the moon isn't as bright!
