Mars Feb 18

Rather mediocre seeing this morning, at least small Mars allows long captures to pick from. Or throw away, more precisely!

It's been a few years since you did planetary imaging so you have a new learning curve to go through - new scope, new camera and new processing software.

Your image shows the split in the NCP and that means your resolution is good but for some reason you only used about half the brightness range of the monitor for the r, g and b images and about 75% for the rgb.

I took the liberty to brighten it all in Gimp. I should check my monitor though.
