Eclipse from Lambert's Beach Mackay

Took a drive down to Lambert's beach to get a good horizon view of the eclipse and half the town was there! Had a nice chat to some folk while snapping away.

Anyway a wide view of the Moon, Spica and Mars rising over the Pacific. Then some shots at various intervals through an ED80 at F5.5 simply mounted on a camera tripod. Exposure was a second or two with a Pentax K-x.

Thanks all. There was a lot of haze or fog close to the horizon. Several degrees of sky was totally unusable. It took a while before someone pointed it out.
