Vixen SXP users

OK, I have started - FINALLY - the slush fund for a Vixen SXP (if you have one for sale, let me know ).

Any user reports re the SB TEN and tracking accuracy greatly appreciated.

SXP and SB10

In short its a great combination. Tracking is very good and the starbook becomes more and more intuitive as I go. I did think about the expansion unit but I cant justify the cost. I do thing that the SXG half pillar is a necessity ( at least for me)

HTH - happy to discuss further

I had the SXP and upgraded to the AXD. For both I had the Advanced Unit of which I absolutely love as it's especially useful when using the setup on-the-go.

The Advanced Unit on the Starbook Ten eliminates the need for a laptop/notebook as I use it for both the guide scope (more a guide video camera), and intervalometer for my DSLR shutter.

The SXP/AXD mount themselves are nice to use - maybe not as silky smooth as the Takahashi EM200/400 series but smooth enough.
