3mm eye relief at that price is a joke. However, to each to his/her own.

I remember some older Tasco high power lenses (0.96 (.98?) inch units and a single eyelash would block the entire field of view. They came with my first telescope, still have them here somewhere I believe. I did upgrade to some decent items.

That takes me back to my first ever telescope - a Tasco 4" reflector on a manual eq mount with 0.96" eyepieces. My brother brought it home from Grace Bros for me. That thing is responsible for getting me hooked on astronomy. Imagine going back to those 0.96" EPs after we've all been spoiled with Naglers etc.

I still have my Tasco 80mm refractor bought 80's or 1990. 80mm x 900 (or 1000mm) focal length. It now sports a Vixen ED lens cell, cut down tube and Williams Optics DDG Synta focuser (via self designed adapter). It also has baffles and flocking. I should pull it out and use it occasionally but I find my 80mm Megrez (original model) smaller and more convenient.

The picture is of a Pentax XO.
There has never been an XW 2.5mm.
Pentax discontinued the XOs years ago, so where this stash is coming from, I don't know.
However, that is 3X the price they sold for years ago. Someone is getting rich off a stash of older eyepieces.

My thoughts exactly. I own an XO 2.5. They sold out years ago. I'm immune to ER related problems so can fully enjoy the XO's image quality.

Still, what DO you get if you order this?
